"Since its inception, CCA has provided quality narrative and direction for contemporary African art through art publications, curatorial services and art exhibitions. These actions have undoubtedly played an important role in charting a positive direction for Nigerian contemporary art, which extends to the African art scene. It is therefore important for me to donate this work to aid their projects, especially the acquisition of a permanent place."

The present lot expresses the position of clothing and flesh in a contemporary body politics conversation. The in-vogue fashion of “show body” has become a constant trend among the female youths in the Nigeria society. This is represented with barcode patterned female subjects, placed before lush green vegetation that seems to appeal the idea of sensual intent.
